Teens Brunch Cooking Series
Have a budding chef in the family? We are excited to launch our virtual teen brunch cooking classes for Fall 2020! Over this 3-part series, your teen will learn to cook three different brunch/lunch dishes to be served to the whole family at the end of each class.
WHEN: Saturday Nov. 7th, 14th, and 21st from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Participants will receive a recording of the classes after each session to review should they miss a class or need a refresher at a later date.
WHO: Youths aged 12-18 who have a passion for cooking and are eager to learn new techniques!
WHERE: Cook in your own homes virtually online via Zoom. An adult must be on the premises for emergency purposes.
HOW IT WORKS: Every Monday, parents/guardians will be sent an ingredient list and an equipment list for class the following Sunday. It will be your responsibility to procure the necessary ingredients and equipment prior to classes.
On the day of class, participants will need a computer or tablet (with a microphone and camera) to sign-in to our Zoom kitchen. Participants will cook along with the instructor step-by-step and will be able to ask questions and converse with other like-minded young chefs. By the end of class, participants will have a meal prepared to share with their families for brunch/lunch!
PRICING: $120/participant (grocery costs not included)
Week 1: Zesty Red Lentil Soup, Kale & Squash Salad, and Flaky Green Onion & Yoghurt Biscuits
Week 2: Fresh Pesto Gnocchi with Roasted Tomatoes and Rosemary Pangrattato
Week 3: Mushroom Galette with Arugula Salad and The Perfect Jammy Eggs
