While sushi is Japan’s food icon, the mighty bowl of ramen is quickly becoming North America’s new favourite Japanese dish. Learn about the components of making a delicious bowl of ramen, from the noodles to the toppings. As a healthier alternative to pork broth, we will teach you how to make a umami-packed mushroom broth. Prepare to slurp your noodles, and pick up a few Japanese words and etiquette tips too!

Important Class Details
Please note our cooking classes are a combination of interactive hands-on for the attendees as well as demonstration by the instructor.
We've had to redesign our classes to allow for physical distancing due to Covid-19. Because of this, cooking class seats are being sold in pairs to allow space between groups. We encourage you to bring a family member or friend that you are comfortable cooking with and sharing food. As space is limited and our class capacity is reduced, single seats are not available at this time.
All cooking classes will require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for persons aged 12 and older to comply with the updated BC provincial health order.
